My career has included providing hands-on care to vulnerable adults and children, to earning a diploma in Human Resources, and transitioning into Operations Management. Throughout my 22 year nursing career, I have had the privilege of working across a broad range of services including mental health inpatient services, rehabilitation, children's respite, and for the last 11 years since raising my own family, complex care. This has given me the opportunity to work with both children and adults with a diverse range of needs. This has not only strengthened my clinical skills and knowledge but has given me the invaluable experience of understanding the multifaceted complexities that individuals and families face when accessing healthcare.

With over 14 years of experience in health and social care, including primary care, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside GPs, Consultants, Social Workers, Operations Managers, and community agencies. My career has been driven by a personal passion for supporting individuals with complex care needs, which aligns perfectly with the values and mission of Esme Blake Care Services.
For 8 years, I worked with social services, leading hospital discharge planning for clients with complex needs, collaborating with professionals across five hospitals and three rehabilitation centres. This role allowed me to build strong, lasting relationships with social workers, case managers, and care providers.
