Meet the Team

Stephanie Randall-Vaughan - Managing Director/Founder

With over 17 years of dedicated experience in the health and social care industry, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside local authorities, case managers, ICBs, and CCGs to support individuals and families with complex care needs.

My journey in care is deeply personal. As a parent of a child who has experienced a brain injury, I’ve seen first hand the challenges and emotions that come with navigating complex care. I understand how deeply it impacts not only the individual but the entire family. This lived experience fuels my passion for ensuring that families receive compassionate, high-quality, and truly person-centred support.

Throughout my career, my focus has always been on delivering exceptional, individualised care that enhances quality of life and empowers both clients and their families. I believe that every person deserves care that recognises their unique needs and aspirations.

As a Chartered Member of the CIPD, I’m also committed to creating supportive, positive work environments. When care professionals feel valued, respected, and empowered, they deliver the best possible outcomes for those they support, something I’ve seen time and again in practice.

Esme Blake Care Services is far more than a business to me; it’s a reflection of my values, my experience, and my heartfelt commitment to making a difference. Every decision we make and every service we provide is shaped by compassion, integrity, and a deep understanding of what families truly need. Together with our dedicated team, we strive to deliver care that goes beyond expectations - care that changes lives.

Scott Randall-Vaughan - Director of Recruitment and Compliance

I have had the privilege of working alongside exceptional professionals throughout my career. With deep experience in recruitment, my focus is on creating a workplace where people feel valued, respected, and fully supported from the moment they join our team.

As Director of Recruitment and Compliance at Esme Blake Care Services, I lead the full journey of bringing new staff into the organisation, from ensuring all Right to Work checks are completed to overseeing every stage of training compliance. My priority is to make these processes clear, consistent, and empowering, so that every team member feels confident and prepared in their role.

I am dedicated to building a team culture grounded in trust, accountability, and genuine care for one another. By strengthening our recruitment pathways, maintaining rigorous compliance standards, and investing in the development of our staff, I aim to cultivate a positive working environment where our team can thrive and deliver their best.

Ultimately, my commitment is to our people; supporting them, championing their growth, and fostering a culture where everyone feels proud to be part of the Esme Blake Care Services team.

Phoebe Townsend - HR and Payroll Manager

With over eight years’ experience in Health and Social Care, my career spans a wide range of roles within the sector, giving me a strong, practical understanding of the industry. From providing hands-on care to vulnerable children and adults, to managing recruitment processes and supporting teams at every stage of their employment journey. Alongside my practical experience, I hold a diploma in Human Resources, which underpins my structured and compliant approach to HR and payroll management.

My background allows me to combine empathy with professionalism, balancing the human side of HR with accuracy, efficiency, and a strong focus on compliance. I take pride in delivering reliable HR and payroll support that meets the needs of both staff and the wider organisation. I am passionate about encouraging positive, fair, and well-managed workplaces, ensuring both employees and the organisation can thrive.

My goal at Esme Blake is to ensure that all staff feel empowered within their roles, listened to and supported, so that in turn, every employee is enabled to continue providing excellent care to our clients and their families.

Atlanta Lumsden - Deputy Branch Manager

With over eight years of experience in the health and social care sector, I have had the privilege of working across a variety of settings, from community-based support to leadership roles within complex care services.

I take pride in going beyond the delivery of care by building trust, listening closely to individuals and their families, and ensuring that every aspect of support is compassionate, dignified, and tailored to each person’s unique needs.

This belief has guided my approach throughout my career and remains central to everything I do.

Alongside my experience, I have achieved my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, which has strengthened my ability to maintain high standards of care, ensure compliance and support the continuous development of services.

As the Deputy Branch Manager for Esme Blake, my goal is to combine my passion for care with my professional knowledge, ensuring that our service delivers excellence at every level.

Jenny Venton - Head of Clinical Governance and Education

With over the past 14 years as a paediatric nurse, I’ve had the opportunity to work across a variety of settings, including A&E, Neonatal Intensive Care, as well as palliative and complex care in the community. Each experience has shaped my clinical expertise and given me a deep understanding of what it takes to provide safe, high-quality care.

I am passionate about complex care in the community and dedicated to upholding the highest clinical standards. I believe every child and family deserves care that is not only safe and effective, but also thoughtfully coordinated to meet their individual needs.

In my role as Head of Clinical Governance and Education at Esme Blake, I focus on embedding best-practice standards across our services and delivering high-quality education and training for our teams. By supporting and developing our clinical staff, I aim to create an environment where excellence, learning, and compassionate practice are central to everything we do.

What I find most rewarding is seeing our teams grow in confidence and skill, knowing that this directly translates into safer, better care for the children and families we serve. I am motivated by continuous improvement and by building a culture where high standards and professional development are valued and celebrated.

Claire Dinning - Clinical Services Manager

As a Children’s Nurse with more than nine years of experience supporting children with complex needs and their families, my clinical background spans a range of settings, including palliative and respite care. Throughout my career, my focus has remained on delivering compassionate, high-quality care and helping families make the most of every day.

As Clinical Services Manager, I lead and oversee clinical services at Esme Blake, working closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and personalised care packages are delivered within the home. I am committed to maintaining the highest clinical standards, supporting and developing our nursing teams, and ensuring every child receives care tailored to their individual needs.

Supporting children to thrive, helping families feel confident and reassured, and empowering our teams to deliver exceptional care are at the heart of everything I do. It is a privilege to play a role in making a positive difference for the families we support.

Kate Cook - Senior Complex Care Coordinator

With over 15 years in the Health and Social Care sector, I have had the privilege of supporting many wonderful individuals with diverse needs, including complex care, learning disabilities, mental health challenges, autism, and dementia across a variety of settings.

Throughout my career, I have taken opportunities to advance my skills and knowledge, undertaking additional training to stay familiar with best practices. As a nursing associate, I recognised the importance of refining my skills and knowledge in complex care, which led me to Esme Blake Care Services - a company that shares my commitment to continuous learning and high-quality care.

I am truly passionate about person-centred care, ensuring that each individual is always at the heart of their care and support, and take great pride in advocating for those whose voices often go unheard. I feel fortunate to work alongside a team that embodies these values, delivering compassionate, tailored care to those who need it most.

Ella Burgess - Recruitment and Compliance Administrator

As Recruitment and Compliance Administrator at Esme Blake, I support the safe and smooth onboarding of our care staff. Before moving into this role, I worked as a 999 Call Handler for the Ambulance Service and as a carer, which gave me real insight into frontline care and the difference clear communication, compassion, and reliability make every day.

Having experienced both emergency response and hands-on care, I understand the responsibility that comes with supporting vulnerable people. I’m passionate about making sure our staff feel supported, meet compliance standards, and are fully prepared to provide high-quality, person-centred care

I’m proud to be part of Esme Blake Care Services, where compassion, innovation, and the wellbeing of both the people we support and the professionals who care for them are central to everything we do.
